Andrea Sy is the Chief Strategy & Operations Officer at Focus Global, a SEA retail company in the Philippines, Singapore, and Malaysia, and is a Founding Partner at Vector, a SEA focused technology venture fund. At Focus Global, she drives the company’s technology-first strategy - transforming traditional business units into ecommerce-first brands, building internal apps / mobile-first websites / cloud data warehouses, and launching new business unit ventures. With Vector, she invests in startups with a SEA focus and curates events to support Series A founders. Previously, she built business lending and consumer lending products at Square, San Francisco. She received her undergraduate engineering degree at Stanford University in 2015 and has previously developed coursework for innovation classes at Stanford GSB and Stanford d.school.

On the weekends, Andrea is either playing volleyball or looking for that perfect cup of coffee.
