Ayman stands as a trailblazer in the world of finance, holding the prestigious position of Co-founder and CEO of Exits MENA. Before starting this entrepreneurial venture, he honed his skills as the head of transaction advisory services. Ayman's impressive eleven-year tenure in investment banking saw him working with some of the most esteemed financial institutions globally and regionally, including the International Finance Corporation (IFC) of The World Bank Group, the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development (EBRD), and the Arab African International Bank. Ayman has also worked as a Climate Finance Advisor to the Egyptian Ministry of Environment during the preparation of COP27.
During his expansive career, Ayman has skillfully navigated and advised on investment and debt deals that cumulatively surpass USD 1.5 billion in size. His advisory roles have been pivotal for governments and multinational corporations, showcasing his acumen in handling high-stake financial transactions.
Ayman's expertise is not confined to a single industry. He boasts a versatile background, encompassing pivotal sectors such as fintech, telecom, broadband, renewable energy, oil and gas, green hydrogen, healthcare, microfinance, FMCG, fertilizers, and social infrastructure. This diverse exposure underlines his ability to adapt and excel in various market conditions and sectors.
Academically, Ayman is as accomplished as he is professionally. He holds an MBA from the University of Warwick, a Bachelor of Accounting from the American University in Cairo, and a specialized certificate in project finance from Harvard University.
