Beau Seil is a Co-Founder of Patamar Capital, the leading impact-driven VC firm in Southeast Asia.  Patamar invests in inclusive financial
services companies, SME digitization platforms, and tech driven agriculture
companies serving low and middle-income communities across emerging Asia. 

For over a decade - prior to his departure in 2022 - Beau (i) led the firm’s expansion into new geographic markets, (ii) witnessed the growth and
development of the tech and VC ecosystems in India, Indonesia, Vietnam,
Pakistan, and the Philippines, and (iii) led investments into eCommerce,
agriculture, fintech, job matching and digital health companies.  He is the former Board Chair of RUMA (acquired by Gojek), and is on the board of mClinica and Lhoopa.  He was also instrumental in integrating a gender-lens across the firm’s operations and investment strategy and launching Southeast Asia’s first gender-lens VC fund.    

As a result of his work launching and deploying venture capital funds in emerging Asian markets since 2008, Beau regularly speaks on the development of technology and venture capital ecosystems and the
need for impact-driven venture capital to generate inclusive economic growth
and uncover sector-defining market opportunities in emerging economies. 

Beau is also an executive coach to multiple founders across emerging South Asian markets and currently operating as an executive in the housing and real estate development sector.

Beau is an Eisenhower Fellow and Kauffman Fellow, and holds a JD/MBA-Finance and B.S. in Psychology from Brigham Young University.
