Dr. Khalid Alballaa is the Chief Commercial Officer of the biggest company in its field in Saudi Arabia.
He received a bachelor’s degree in Medicine from King Saud University and later worked in N2V, which is a VC that operates in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt and Jordan. Afterwards, he moved to the United States to pursue a MBA. While studying in the United States, he was elected by the university’s 30,000 students to be a representative on the “Student’s Fee Committee” which manages and allocates an annual budget of $15 million of student’s tuition. After earning an MBA, he returned to the region and joined Mubasher Financial Group. Within a year and a half from joining Mubasher, he was elected to be the Managing Director of the AlSafwa-Mubasher Financial Services, which is a company listed on the Dubai Financial Market with a paid-in capital of 564 million Dirhams. His efforts paid off with a successful acquisition of the company by one of the largest investment groups in the Middle East. Finally, he joined National Aquaculture Group (Naqua), which is the largest Shrimp farm in the world. He is currently the Chief Commercial Officer of Naqua. Dr. Khalid earned the Certified Director (Cert.Dir.) designation, which is a professional title awarded by the GCC Board Directors Institute (GCC BDI) and the Saudi Capital Market Authority.
