Laura has been combining her passion for science, innovation, and investment on an international scale for (nearly) 20 years. During this time she has had the privilege to wear many hats within the entrepreneurial value chain, from cofounder of startups, pioneer in Latin America's VC industry, partner at a Silicon Valley VC, to serving on the investment board of a family foundation. In these roles, Laura has adopted a learner's mindset to innovation & systems thinking, strategy & analysis to guide investment decisions, and people power to champion others to be their best selves.

Exciting times ahead, Laura is focused on building something new in the longevity investment space, where people and planet can thrive together, and where technology can help understand complex biological systems to impact health. Themes include: Mental Health, Women's Health, Beauty & Wellness, Nutrition, and the Environment.

Laura has been a partner, investment professional, and advisor to equity/debt funds across US and Emerging Markets to include SV LatAm Capital (fintech, climate & sustainability, healthtech), Aurus Ventures (consumer internet & mobile, fintech, education), Sitawi Brazil (impact investing), and Banorte Group Mexico (financial services, sustainability). In every investment opportunity and career move, she looks to transform societies, environment, and health on a global scale. Her expertise spans PreSeed, Seed and Series A investments.

Additionally, she has been a judge to several international innovation programs to include: Black Ambition (led by Pharrell Williams), Startup Chile, and Morgan Stanley’s Sustainable Investing Challenge.

Laura has earned a BA, cum laude, in Physics & Spanish from Lake Forest College, and an MBA/MS from the University of Michigan in sustainability and finance.
