Norman Liang is a partner at Upshot Ventures focusing on pre-seed and seed disruptive technology companies. Before joining Upshot, he was an investor at WI Harper where he led investments in frontier and deep technology companies. Prior to joining Upshot he held roles in business development at IBM, Nokia, Photobucket (acq. by MySpace), and Sungy Mobile (NASD:GOMO). He has been active in the Asian American community and currently serves as Co-President of the Asia America Multi-technology Association ("The AAMA"), one of the first communities dedicated to the cross-border technology entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley and Asia with chapters in Silicon Valley, Beijing, Taipei, Japan, Korea, and Vietnam.
