Tara Sibel Demren, Founding Partner & CEO, RIVA Film Fund
Tara Sibel Demren is an entrepreneur, artist, author, and director/producer. She co-founded RIVA Studios and Film Launchpad where she is currently writing, directing and producing several original feature films and TV series, having collaborated with partners such as HBO Max and Netflix. In 2022, Tara founded RIVA Film Fund (RFF) which is a film fund dedicated to producing independent and international films that champion the human spirit aimed for global distribution. RFF's mandates make film financing easily accessible and transparent as a low risk, high return alternative investment vehicle.
Born in Paris to loving parents from Istanbul and New York City, Tara was raised in Miami as a global citizen and fell in love with art, philosophy, and design as a child. She serendipitously got involved in the tech startup world while a Freshman in college, and eventually was able to merge her entrepreneurial side with her passion for creative arts.
Before the age of 25, Tara partook in building three tech startups, having one exit, and started a green fund. In her spare time, Tara takes on commissioned artwork and loves to write. Her latest published book, “The Express Lane for Young Adults,” has a sole focus of giving back to the younger generation so they can lead fulfilling, opportunity prone, intentional lives by leveraging a “Butterfly Effect Mindset” on the compounding principle.
